ByChow is a personal travel blog. It doesn't sell anything, run ads, or have accounts or forms for you to fill in.
Data collected
- Google Analytics: the pages you view, where you came from (Google, social media, shared links), device type, browser, estimated country or city, and clicks on Trip.com booking links, social media or email.
- Microsoft Clarity: how you scroll and click on the page, to find parts that are hard to use. Text on the page and anything you type is masked and not recorded.
- PostHog: technical errors while the page runs (error message, affected page, browser), to fix bugs. No cookies are stored and nothing is tied to you.
The data is only used to see which posts are helpful and to fix what isn't working. It is not sold or shared with advertisers.
Cookies and your choice
Analytics cookies are stored only when you click Accept. If you haven't chosen yet or you click Decline, Google Analytics only sends anonymous counts without storing cookies, and Clarity stores no cookies. Your choice is saved right in your browser.
Data processors
Data is stored by Google, Microsoft and PostHog (servers in the EU) under their own policies: Google, Microsoft, PostHog.
