1. Jiuzhai Songcheng Romance (九寨千古情) – the most famous show
This is the most booked show: on Trip.com it has about 2,600 reviews, over 9,000 ticket bookings, and ranks 6th in the list of nightlife attractions in all of Sichuan.
The main performance is staged as a musical, moving through scenes: the legend of Jiuzhai, the war song of the ancient Qiang people, Princess Wencheng's marriage alliance between the Han and Tibetans, and an earthquake recreated with5D effects: the whole hall shakes and water pours down onto the stage.
The show is inside a theme park built like an old Tibetan–Qiang town. Besides the main performance there are smaller acts such as the Guozhuang circle dance (锅庄), the chieftain's son-in-law selection, Sichuan opera…, so if you enter early you can stroll around before showtime.

Tibetan Enigma has the dancerYang Lipingas chief director, and is performed in its own theater of about 2,000 seats right at the Jiuzhaigou gate area. The show does not tell one continuous story like Songcheng Romance, but gathers songs, dances and instruments from many Tibetan regions: yak dance, circle dance, religious music, costume displays, horse-head fiddle, Tibetan horns…, split into 4 parts.
On Trip.com the show has fewer reviews (27 reviews, 4.3/5) but has long had a name: in 2007 it made the top 9 of China's representative cultural tourism programs.
